Re: Cancellation of a Contract for Deed
You need to serve a Notice of Cancellation. We handle these for clients. After service, you need to wait 60 days. If the purchasers do not cure the default, you get the property back.

The statute provides that the purchaser must pay attorneys fees in a statutory amount if they reinstate the contract for deed. If you want to do it yourself you need to check for tax liens, assignments, etc.
