Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

Commision issue

We had a contract with a realtor to sale our home and after 6 months we decided to pull it off the market with the realtor and rent it out or sale it on contract for deed. The realtor never gave us a potential buyers list and we had some people ask us to sale it to them on a contract for deed. We decided to and now the realtor is trying to collect commission. Am I obligated to pay the realtor a commision they did not earn?

Re: Commision issue

If the realtor can show that he or she found the buyer during the time the place listed, he or she might have a claim.

You should consult with a lawyer and review the whole issue.
