Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

Correcting a name change on property

I live in Georgia, I need a power of atty., to be used in the state of MN., by my son. Should I use a POA from Georgia or a copy of a POA from Minnesota?

We have a very nice statutory short form power of attorney that any Minnesota lawyer could prepare for you. You might be able to get it done, but you will raise questions and problems if you try to use a Georgia form for a Minnesota transaction, and probably vice versa.
