Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

foreclousure

The mortgage company won't work with us and is foreclosing on our house. The loan is in my husbands name only and for that reason, they will not discuss any of this with me, yet the notice of sheriffs sale that they put in the paper names both of us. Can they do that and still refuse to talk to me?

Re: foreclosure

Well, have your husband call. And you should call the Minnesota Foreclosure Prevention Hotline at 8OO 71O 887l or 65l 296 82l5. You should also call an attorney in your area who handles chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.
