Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota
We live along a river in Minnesota. The neighborhood children like to cut through our yard to get to the river. I would prefer that they find a different access to the river but my husband seems to think we do not have the right to refuse access Part of my problem is I just prefer them not cutting through my yard. I'm also not sure if we would be held accountable if one of them were to get hurt Who's right

If there is no easement, you can restrict access across your property and, you could be liable for injuries to trespasseres if:
(1) you know that the area is frequented by trespassers; and'
(2) a dangerous condition exits creating a risk of ham.
