How long does a home have to be vacant to be considered abandoned?

Your question is confusing. Do you mean a tenant leaves a home vacant?
If you were referring to "squatter's rights" which is a common question, there really is no such thing. Real estate is never considered abandoned if there is a titled owner unless that owner sells the home. A person can acquire interest in land through adverse possession, but that requires an open and notorious possession for 15 years or more.
