Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

real estate/ buyout

A corporation has planned for 3 yrs to build plant. The maps that they provided to the state said a friends home did not exist in the boundaries of their plans. they got no buyouts and they very well may have been shot down for funding. Now they sold the company to a foreign developer. Can my friends sue or do they have any rights to fight and who would they fight now?

Re: real estate/ buyout

I need a few more details:

Does your friend own land that the plant would be built on? Is there a dispute about the title to your friend's land? Has the company attempted to buy your friend's land? What is the status of those attempts? Is there the possibility that the land will be aquired by eminent domain (condemnation)?

You can e-mail the response to me.
