Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

Hi, I am representing a foreign company as a commission-only US sales rep. I am not a direct employee of the company. The company does have a US location but it is superficial, and the company is not registered in the US.

I am concerned that if a US customer has a problem and ends up suing, that they might attempt to sue me if I am the only US visible part of the company.

Do I need to be concerned? Should I set up an LLC? If so, how should I represent myself to customer (i.e. as an independent sales person) without alienating them?

I think you're right to be concerned about your possible exposure. If I were a customer's attorney, I would likely recommend suing you. It is impossible to suggest a specific entity for you without speaking with you, but an LLC will be the likely recommendation. So, I would suggest you consult an attorney.
