Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

selling a house after bankruptcy

Is there a way to sell my house now but not recieve any money for 6 months or so? I need to finish bankruptcy payments, but also cannot afford to make my house payments. Is there any kind of account or trust the money could temporarily be put into by the buyer?

Re: selling a house after bankruptcy

You could sell on a contract for deed which provides for nothing down and the first payment six months from now.

Whether you should do that is another question. I do bankruptcy work, but I don't understand what the purpose of such a move would be.
