Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Minnesota

Sexual Harrassment at work

a co-worker has been making sexually-related comments towards me and others throughout a year of my experience at this job. one example: i'm a mom, so i pump. one of the first days that i brought my pump into work, he stared at the pump, which made me feel uneasy, and then he smiles this smile that made me feel even more uneasy, and asked what it was for, even though he knew because i was explaining to my other female co-workers. i explained that i cant feed my baby at work, so i need to pump so i have milk for him, and he says: you don't need that then, i can help you with that. also, i've heard more than once when a female co-worker disagrees with him, he would say: did i wiggle my zipper yet? don't be giving me lip, i didn't wiggle my zipper yet. and he would tug at his zipper a little too. i told human resources and they said they would look into it. there've been other instances of offensive language and situations where he harrasses me and others. could i pursue legal action?

Re: Sexual Harrassment at work

if no action is taken, you can report it to the EEOC or State agency in MN thats enforces State law; you don't actually have a discrimination case until you are either demoted or have some adverse employment action taken against you by the company.

If it gets so bad that you can't stand to work there anymore, that is the equivalent though; if there are over 15 employees report to EEOC.
