Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota
Hello, during the last big snowfall here in the Twin Cities, MN I was involved in a accident where I lost control of my car and crashed into a vehicle that was stopped at the traffic light I was headed to ... When I was given my ticket I was charged with Reckless Driving and was told it is standard that in Washington County, MN whomevers fault the accident was gets charged with that. Is this true for Washington County, MN. It happened in Woodbury, MN to be specific. Thank you.

No this doesn't sound "standard" at all. There are many less serious traffic charges that the officer could have given you. Reckless is a misdemeanor crime in Minnesota. Retain an attorney to defend you. Feel free to call or email me for a free initial consultation.
