Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota
Cleaning up driving record
I have heard the term expunge-is this legal?
It would be nice to ''clean-up'' my driving record just like a credit report-is this possible.

Re: Cleaning up driving record
Expungement is a legal proceeding where a hearing is scheduled before a judge and volumes of paper are filed with the court. It might be overkill for a driving record.
Here is a little known secret concerning moving violations. For any minor moving violations that are over 5 years old, the state will remove them from your record for the asking. Call "Driver Evaluation" at Driver and Vehicle Services. Try it, you'll like it.
