Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota
i was driving home and a cop got behind me and followed me for atleast 1 mile never broke any traffic violations he ran my license plate number and seen my license was suspended can they pull you over for that reason even though i never broke any traffic violations

Yes. You were violating Minnesota law by driving on a suspended license and that is more than enough.
