Hit and Run Property Damage made by a large commercial company
My car was hit while parked on private business property. The company is very small and has approximately 10 employees. My car wouldn't start due to the weather so I had to leave it parked at work. When I went to get my car, the rear end had been hit and the person that hid it cleaned up all of the pieces. I have witnesses that know my car was not that way when it was left there (it had a faulty starter and bad battery connection). The damage missed my bumper completely but scraped and dented the top edge of the trunk and took out a large section next to the license plate. No one (0ut of the 10 employees) has a ''white'' vehicle or a auto that would tower above my bumper. No one saw the accident but the dumpster was emptied the next morning by a large commercial garbage truck with a white front end. (My car was parked in a stall located in front of the dumpster). I got the insurance information after calling the office and talking to the site supervisor. Now their insurance company told me that I can't prove anything so they don't have to pay since no one actually ''saw'' them do it. I was also told that the age of my vehicle was an issue (93 Cadillac). Any suggestions on what I could possibly do? I only had liability Ins.

You can file a lawsuit, but as the insurance company indicated, you may have a very hard time proving liability. Any truck owned by any company visiting that area could have damaged your vehicle.
