Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota
no insurance
I was pulled over and had no insurance and was ticketed for that and speed. Due to my job I cannot have my license revoked. Is this going to happen? Although I had no insurance I had gotten it within a couple of hours after they impounded my car. What can I do?

Re: no insurance
First, you need to hope that you got your ticket in a city that is willing to give you a chance to keep this off your record. If you can find an attorney who has previous experience with the particular city of your offense, that will be helpful. Or, you can go to court on your own and ask the prosecutor to give you a break. The bottom line is that a conviction will get your license suspended (although you would be eligible for a work permit right away). It certainly looks good that you got insurance set up so quickly.
