Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota
is it legal for a police officer to pull you over for suspection of haveing a revoked license? Today I was pulled over because an officer ran my plates and saw that I the owner have a revoked licence and the proceded to give me a ticket for it!

The answer depends on the particular circumstances surrounding the stop. An officer must have a reasonable suspicion of particularized criminal activity toseized a person by stopping them.
Even if the stop is deemed valid, there are many other factors that go into negotiating and resolving such cases. If you have no prior infractions of a similar nature, it may be possible to avoid a conviction and another suspension and revocation.
