Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota
reckless driving
Can the police give you a reckless driving ticket for something that happened in a School parking lot? I thought School Grounds were considered private property when it came to traffic tickets. Please help clear up this issue.

Re: reckless driving
The law at one time required that it be on a public roadway, but now it says that it need only involve operating a motor vehicle in the state of minnesota.
So you can get a ticket anywhere, including on a frozen lake.
