can the state of minnesota take your license on a first offense of no car insurance if u just bought the vehicle

Yes. Every automobile owner is required to have insurance for that vehicle from the time it is purchased. A citation for no insurance will result in a suspension of the owner's license. However, in most cases, a conviction can be avoided by seeking a court date , acquiring insurance and seeking a Stay of Prosecution. We handle a significant number of such matters.
