Legal Question in Traffic Law in Minnesota
I was stopped on 7-13-09 for a safety seat violation in a commerical vechicle,I had my lap belt on but no sholder belt. I have a Dr's note that I visited him and that I have a perscription for a rash on my neck and shoulders. I told the highway patrol this but was still issued a no seat belt violation. do I have any grounds to get this demissed?

It is not a defense to the violation. However, in most instances, if you have a clean record, the prosecutor will agree to a resolution that keeps the violation off your record.
