Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota
I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters and my father still alive. My question is one of my brothers is $60,000 plus in debt with no job or any income. He is currently living with my father and I'm not sure if his assets are enough to cover all his debt. He is divorced with no kids, if he was to die would we be liable for his debt? He has no will.

No. Unless a family member co-signed on any of the loan agreements, and than only that person could be responsible for the debt.
