Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota

Who is entitled to the estate

My mother-in-law was with a man for 38 years, he did not have any children and has one sister. They shared a life and raised her 4 children. They never married. His sister came on his death bed and had him sign everything over to her. They seem each other a few times a year. Does my mother-in-law, and the 4 children have any rights to any of his estate?

Re: Who is entitled to the estate

Given the limited facts, if no will the laws of intestacy

would pass the estate to the state. You would also have to look

at the situation from a contract analysis, undue influence etc to

view the sisters conduct.
