if property is deeded to children prior to death is this property part of deceased estate

You should discuss the ramifications of deeding property to children with an attorney. It is generally not wise to have many people on a deed as it may impair future marketability of the property. There are other ways to accomplish your goals. You should contact an attorney. Mary
