irrevocable trusts

Is it possible to overturn a trust that was set up as irrevocable? (with approval through the one living parent)

When a trust is irrevocable, that just means that the person who created it cannot revoke it. Most trusts have exit clauses which allow the trustee to terminate the trust if there is no longer a good reason for the trust to continue.

So talk to the trustee about putting the trust to sleep.
