Legal Question in Business Law in Mississippi

I behind on my car because I'm not work my car dealer trying to reposess. My car I ask to wait three weeks to get my taxes so I can pay the whole amount off they filed a suit against me I'm paying my car off tomorrow can they still keep my car and not give it back after I pay it off

If you pay off the car before they repossess it, they cannot take it. If they repossess it it is legally theirs and they can sue you for any balance minus the value of the car
