Legal Question in Business Law in Mississippi
I am searching for a franchise attorney that will take my case on a contingency basis. I purchased a franchise from a well known franchisor. They promised the moon as for as we are always here for you. My field representative was supposed to be at my office within six months of opening to help train me in marketing and sales. It's been a year now and he still has not shown up. The franchisor also falsified my net worth to obtain financing for equipment. I was not able to get contact info for insurance adjusters because in their words " if we had it to give, it changes all the time". I texted my field rep and asked him who I need to contact when I am ready to close shop. He said I am the one you let know. He advised me he would call me later in the day. This was on Monday, he finally called on Friday evening. He gave me the usual, lets see what we can do to get you profitable. I think we had one more conversation and I ended up closing 2 weeks later. Still have not heard from anyone. The story is longer and way more in depth. Anyone interested?
