Legal Question in Business Law in Mississippi
What does it take for a small business to be classified as a minority/woman owne
I currently work in a small family business that is owned by a parent company. This parent company is also owned by the children of the family (3 men & 4 women). The 4 women own 52% of the stock/parent company. I would like to know if this classifies the business I work at as a woman owned business? If so, do I have to register this with the government or how do I get the proof to show that the company is woman owned?
