Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Mississippi

I bought a motorcycle in my name for my brother and he defaulted on the payments. I tried negotiaing with the company that holds the loan and my brother still didn't pay. Can the defaulted loan be taken off my credit and put on his credit.
