Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Mississippi
Being sued for medical bills that are from 2006-2007 . I would like to know if medical bills considered a promissory note / contract. Does the Statues of Limitations of three years apply ? I was told that I owed one amount and when I was finished paying that off they continued to take money out of my account. When I called to ask why , they said that I had $1300.00 more come in . Is that legal for them to take more that I had agreed to? I stopped payments from my account and now being sued.

You need to call an attorney at once. If they agreed to take a lesser sum and continued to debit your account for more than that sum they may be "guilty" for conversion of your funds. The statute of limitations does not start to run until the date after you made the last payment on the account.
