Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
over 18 months ago some property that I paid $5,100 for came up missing while I was incarcerated. A day ago my 11 year old son told me he knew where my $3,000 zero turn x-mark mower was at.It turned out that his grandmother boyfriend it in his back yard covered up. I notified the police, had my paper work that proved it was my property,but the police did nothing yet and left the property at this person pending monday i come to the jail and talk to about it cause the person is saying that he bought it from someone who is now deceased.clearly it is my property and yes it was stolen so what is my rights concerning this matter.

First go get it. Then swear out felony receiving stolen property charges against the culprit.
