Re: help

You can do one of three things: (1) do nothing and wait and see what happens. This would tend to demonstrate that you do not maintain constant control over the property in case there are drugs or other contraband inside without your knowledge; (2) contact the Police and advise them you would consent to a search of all premises without a warrant, presuming you can show ownership of all property they desire to search. In that regard you could demonstrate that you have nothing to hide and wish to be fully cooperative with Law enforcement; or (3) Hire competent counsel to contact the law enforcement agency to determine why they desire to search your property before he decides to announce that you will cooperate with the searches requested/desired. In this regard he could protect you from unreasonable prosecution for some problem located inside the property without your knowledge.

My suggestion is to consider number 3 above most strongly, in order to avoid being "railroaded" by overagressive (and sometimes too aggressive law enforcement personnel) who wish to bend the rules to obtain an arrest at anyone's expense regardless of truth. It happens and when it does it is extremely costly to defend oneself.
