Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
Appeals
I would like to know on what grounds can you appeal a case? And if there is evidence to an appeal, what can be done if the courts will not give one?

Re: Appeals
It is impossible to recite all of the grounds on which an appeal can be made. There are several and you must seek the advice of an attorney to determine whether grounds for appeal exist. If the time to appeal has passed, you can file a motion with the trial court for an out-of-time appeal and, if granted, appeal the case.
