Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
Arrest
Arrested in 1983 for grand theft called police station they have record of arrest. Called court and they have no records. Does the arrest record remain regardless of the outcome of court?

Yes.
In Tennessee you can get court records expunged (destroyed) if the charge gets dismissed or you are found Not Guitly. The police records of the arrest are never destroyed -- once they get your mug shot and finger prints they are never going to give them up.
