Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

My boyfriend And his brother Took a van from a junk lot and scrapped it. They got arrested and bailed out. His brother was arrested for another charge and while serving that charge he took the full wrap for the van and served time for it as well. My boyfriend and I were told by his mother that was the end of that. We never received any notice of him having to go to court for it. My boyfriend has a few other tickets he has been paying off monthly to his probation officer but his last payment was in July 2012. We moved the beginning of August, then again the beginning of September ( due to flooding issues) and we moved one final time towards the end of September so we were strapped for cash so he has not paid his probation officer. On October 20th he was fishing underneath a bridge and got a ticket for not having a fishing license. The police came back and said his name showed he had a bench warrant for his arrest. He is now in an ADC. I can't bail him out until he goes in front of a judge and they set a bond for him. They tell me on the phone at first it was going to be about 2 days before he could see a judge, now they say it can be two weeks. After

visiting my boyfriend he tells me they are telling him it won't be for 6 months at least. I am not sure what to do or believe. No one can give me answers. I even called the woman who owned the van they stole and she says it has nothing to do with her the court indicted him. My question to you is this, how can I help him? Do you think the charges were supposed to be dismissed and never were? Can I call anyone to explain we had no idea of the court date due to moving or their mother neglecting to tell us they sent him something in the mail? Can I do anything to get him out of there because I will do whatever it takes, he is the love of my life. Please help me! Thank you

YOU NEED TO HIRE COMPETENT CRIMINAL COUNSEL AT ONCE TO FILE A MOTION FOR BOND PENDING HIS HEARING SO HE CAN GET OUT AND WORK OR BE WITH YOU ON A DAILY BASIS AT THE VERY LEAST. THEN A MOTION TO DISMISS THE CHARGE NEEDS TO BE FILED WITH RESPECT TO THE CHARGE THE OTHER PERSON TOOK FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR.

OTHERWISE HE MAY SIT IN CUSTODY SEVERAL MONTHS BEFORE SEEING A JUDGE FOR ANY REASON
