Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

my dad has been acussed of this crime trying to pay a minor for sex but he did not do it.the cops said the kids run in and said this and they gave them the tage number of my dads car.do you think this is a nuff proof for my dad to be sent to the grand jury.it looks to me is its his word againsed his.pla help me. melissa

People are arrested on the smallest of evidence all the time. It is up to the State to prove the charges to the satisfaction of the jury and if the jury believes the witnesses against your dad he will be in trouble.
