Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

My daughter was arrested for shoplifting 10 years ago-a matter of being with the wrong person at the wrong time-Her attorney got it reduced from a felony to a misdeamenor. But her record was never esponged. What is the procedure to get her record cleared.

Your daughter must apply to the court in which she was convicted for expungement. A Petition must be filed in that Court to obtain the relief desired.
