IN MISSISSIPPI THERE IS A STATUTE STATING THAT THE STATE HAS TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO TRIAL WITHIN 270 DAYS AFTER ARRAIGNMENT. (ENTRY OF THE NOT GUILTY PLEA FOLLOWING INDICTMENT)
