Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
disturbing the peace
I would like to have a copy of the section that deals with disturbing the peace. Who can sign charges under what circumstances, etc. Does the person signing the charges need to be present at the time of the disturbance, etc.

Anybody can sign the charges and the offense must have been in the complainant's presence or the circumstantial evidence must lead him to reasonably believe the offense was committed by a certain person.
