Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
What to expect
My husband has arraignment tomorrow. What should we expect to happen? Is there any chance of them dismissing the charges tomorrow or making it a misdeminor? Am I allowed to be there? Will he be given the chance to speak on his own behalf since he hasn't been appointed a lawyer yet?. Thanks for your time.

Re: What to expect
Arraignment is where he will have a lawyer appointed and he will enter his plea of not guilty. Then generally the trial date will be set and he can talk with his lawyer.
