Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

expungement

My twenty yr old college student got arrested for petit larceny on 10/25/2007 in Starkville, Ms. He pleaded guilty and now has a record. The college detective said it's just like having a ticket citation, we didn't need to hire an attorney. How can i get an expungement. What will the cost be? He resides in Texas

Based on what you have written, you will need to contact a criminal defense law firm in MS for assistance. In TX, there are specific procedures for expungment and/or sealing of criminal records.
