Is failure to comply with a lawful order in the city of Magee, Mississippi a felony?

It depends on the nature of the order and from what court it was issued. For example, failure to abide by an order from a circuit court requiring a convicted rapist to register with the sheriff as a sex offender is a felony. However, if the municipal court of Magee orders that you pay a fine, and you don't, the failure to pay is not a felony, but will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.
