Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
How can i get a felony exponged from my record in MS without hiring an attorney?
1 Answer from Attorneys
It is "possible" to obtain expungement of certain felony convictions in Miss. If you wish to try to do it without an attorney be advised that any small mistake you make in the very tedious process will result in failure to obtain the desired expungement. Some convictions (some crimes) cannot be expunged (with or without an Attorney). It has been said that a man who represents himself has a fool for a client. While you may be penny wise I suspect you may be "pound foolish" by attempting to undertake a very complicated legal exercise alone, without proper training. You are urged to reconsider your position. (By the way, I will NOT accept your case if you decided to ask, so I wanted you to understand the response given is one of honesty and forthrightness.).
