Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
I had a friend in law enforcement call ant tell me I a warrant out from 2003 for possesion of marigiauna, I called justice court and there was a ticket written with just my name on it. there was no DOB, not address, no SSN number are DL number on the ticket. I never received the ticket nor was ever aressted are pulled over. The crime was not mine what do I need to do?

Get a lawyer fast!!! Otherwise the state can convict you and issue a warrant for your arrest to serve a sentence or pay a fine (or both) and you could be arrested for failing to appear in court.
