Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi
A friend of mine just recently got hired at a factory. He told them about his felony and they still hired him. He was suppose to start orientation Monday but they just called him and said because of his felony they took the job offer back. Is that legal? Can they do that?

Yes. Mississippi is an at will state. They can fire anyone for any reason other than being in a federally protected class
