Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

my girlfriend is being held in her parents house against her will and her parents will not let her leave she's 19 they don't provide for her in anyway the last 6 months she has been living with me and my parents till we could get us a place i went to talk to her cusion yesterday and when i passed her house her dad shot at me i called 911 and the sherriffs dept came out i never stepped foot on the property i have text msgs saying her dad was after me with a loaded gun and and i showed it to the sherriff but when they got to the house her parents said she wasnt home and that everything between them was fine her aunt who was there when the police showed up told me that they had amber (my girlfriend) barricaded in her room and took her cell phone and wouldn't let her out. What can i do

Call the police and tell them about the girl being held hostage in the room in an involuntary manner and let them inspect the property knowing the girl is there.
