Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

So I graduated high school last year and I still keep up with my friends who still go there. Well today I got a call for a girls parent who was irate because I was talking to her daughter and she told me she would put a restraining order on me. Now me and the girl are not dating, we have never kissed or anything. The age difference is a year and some months. Can there really be a restraining order put on me for something so small as texting? I need help

Probably not. However, if the GIRL tells you to cease and desist contact you need to do so or you could be charged with harassment by electronic communications.
