Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

I live in Tishomingo County in Mississippi. A bar was built across the street from our and is VERY noisy on the weekends. We have called the Sheriff for them disturbing the peace. We went to our county board of supervisors meeting and were told our only course of action was to file an affidavit and have the owner arrested. I would like to know if this is truly our only option. I am very worried about some form of retaliation. We are dealing with very country "redneck" people.

Well you can make complaints. After so many you could petition for it to be closed as a nuisance. If there is retaliation then you might need to seek an injunction
