EACH OFFENSE CAN CARRY UP TO 30 YEARS IN PRISON AND/OR A FINE OF ONE MILLION DOLLARS ($1,000,000.00) THEREFORE, THE MAXIMUM PENALTY FOR TWO (2) COUNTS IS EQUAL TO 60 YEARS AND/OR $2,000,000 IN FINES. IF THE OFFENSE OCCURRED WITHIN 1500 FEET OF A CHURCH, SCHOOL, OTHER PLACE OF WORSHIP (AND SOME OTHER LIMITED LOCATIONS) WHEN THE PENALTY IS DOUBLED AUTOMATICALLY.
