Is Misdemeanor Telephone Harassment a Crime of Domestic Violence?
In so far as Title 18 U.S.C., Section 922 (g):
(9) ''has been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence'' - is concerned, is a conviction of misdemeanor telephone harassment resulting in a fine and court costs of approximately three-huindred dollars considered to be a violation of this code?

NO. THERE IS A SPECIFIC "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE" STATUTE IN THE MISSISSIPPI CODE WHICH IS A PART OF THE "ASSAULT" STATUTE.
