probation

when you are on probation; can a probation officer enter your home at anytime even if you are asleep?

pretty much, yes. you have a contract with the probation department which pretty much allows them to do as they will. probation is a privilege, not a right. you can either play by their rules or stay in jail. it's not oftentimes a pleasant program, but those types of inconveniences are the price of your freedom.
