Legal Question in Criminal Law in Mississippi

recently a cousin of mine was being hunted by the law. he comes to my house while i'm gone and goes into my shed and is making meth. when i get home i see his car at my shed and when i walked down there i was in the shed with him when the law pulled up jerked the door open and i went to jail with him. he has since pled guilty to the charge. my question is if i have to go to trial can i beat this.

If the jury believes your story then you have a chance to "beat" this charge. However, if the jury does not believe your story you are in for a miserable sentence to prison.
